Natalie Di Dio
Hello,
My name is Natalie Di Dio. I am a homegrown Idaho potato, born in Nampa and raised in Boise. My art style leans heavily toward abstract realism. I love finding the in-between of reality and fantasy. I am a multimedia artist; I work in watercolor, gouache, acrylic, oil, chalk and oil pastels, ink, graphite, and digitally.
I studied Creative Writing, Studio Arts, and Illustration in my undergrad. I am intensely passionate about mental health and wellness. I am a graduate student at Idaho State University where I am a counselor-in-training working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Clinical Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) where I aim to work with people who struggle with neurodivergence, trauma, relationships, nervous system dysregulation, and disabilities (visible and invisible). I want to use art as a tool to help others express and externalize their lived experiences.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my loved ones, listen to music, go to concerts, play games, spend time outdoors, and - of course - create.
